Welcome to nobuyclub. By using the nobuyclub app or website (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
nobuyclub is a habit-tracking tool for no-buy and low-buy challenges. You set rules, check in, log temptations, and the app displays streaks and an estimate of money you chose not to spend. Your tracking data is stored on your own device (see our Privacy Policy).
The Service is for motivation and information only. Numbers shown (such as "kept" totals) are estimates based on what you enter, not accounting records. Nothing in the Service — including any links to savings accounts or other financial products — is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Partner links are advertisements for products offered by third parties under their own terms; evaluate them yourself and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
The Founding Member unlock is a one-time $9.99 purchase (no subscription) that enables premium features such as additional recap card themes, streak freezes, and the Founding Member badge, plus future Pro features we add. It is a personal, non-transferable license for your own devices, delivered digitally and processed by Stripe. To use the unlock on another device, use "I already paid — restore" with your checkout email; we verify the payment with Stripe.
If the unlock isn't what you expected, email support@nobuyclub.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund it. After a refund, premium features may be disabled.
Don't misuse the Service: no attempting to defeat payment verification, no interfering with the Service's operation, no using it to violate any law, and no reselling or misrepresenting the Service as your own.
The nobuyclub name, design, and app are ours. The recap cards the app generates from your own data are yours — share them anywhere. You may not copy or redistribute the app itself.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that on-device data will never be lost — please use the export feature for backups.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $10 if you paid nothing). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or savings.
We may update the Service and these terms; if we make material changes we'll update the date above and note it in the app or by email. We may suspend or end access for abuse of these terms. You can stop using the Service at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
