The short version: your challenge data lives on your device and never reaches us. We have no accounts, no analytics, no trackers, and no ads. The only personal data we ever touch is an email address you optionally give us for reminders, and the payment record Stripe creates if you buy the Founding Member unlock. We never sell data — there's almost nothing to sell.
nobuyclub ("we," "us") operates the nobuyclub app and website at nobuyclub.com. Contact: support@nobuyclub.com.
Everything you track in the app — rules, check-ins, streaks, logged temptations, amounts, your first name, settings — is stored in your browser's local storage on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or anyone else. We cannot see it, back it up, or recover it. Deleting the app's site data (or using "Erase everything" in Settings) permanently destroys it.
If you enter your email for monthly recap reminders, it is collected through Netlify Forms (our website host) and used for exactly one purpose: sending you club emails such as the monthly recap reminder. We don't share or sell the list. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can request deletion any time by writing to the contact address above.
The Founding Member unlock is processed entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches our systems. We receive from Stripe the basic receipt record: your name, email, amount, and payment status. If you use "restore membership," the email you enter is checked against Stripe's payment records in real time and is not stored by us.
Some links in the app or on our site (for example, to high-yield savings accounts) are partner links — if you open one and sign up, the partner may pay us a commission at no cost to you. These links are always labeled. We share no personal data with partners; the link is just a link.
No advertising networks. No analytics or tracking scripts. No cookies for tracking. No selling, renting, or sharing personal information. No data brokers. No AI training on your data.
Our site and app are hosted by Netlify, which (like any web host) processes standard server logs including IP addresses to deliver the site and prevent abuse. Stripe processes payments. These providers act as our processors under their own privacy terms.
Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the EU/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal information, and to object to certain processing. Since the only personal data we hold is your optional email and Stripe receipt records, exercising these rights is simple: email us at support@nobuyclub.com and we'll take care of it. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.
nobuyclub is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, note it in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
